PRICING!

Want to know how I price my rugs? I bet you do, and transparency is the best, so here you go:

I work at $40 an hour, which is a living wage for where I live, plus materials and cost of shipping.

If I make a 2x2 rug it’ll take about 3-4 hours, I’ll use 2-lbs of yarn, 1 yard of backing cloth, hot glue, latex glue, and twill tape, as well as the time to shave, which is another hour, and then packaging materials.

This is ABOUT $160 for time, $60 for yarn, $25 for backing cost, and $5 for packing materials.

For shipping I charge $20 - $40 depending on weight of piece and location.

More complicated rugs take more time. Thinner yarn takes more time. New designs take more time. Larger size takes more time.
